The Cottage

With thoughtful touches throughout, the cottage exudes a sense of modern luxury and homely charm.

Step inside to find a contemporary living room designed for comfort and relaxation offering a peaceful spot to unwind after a busy day exploring. Relax on the leather sofa or in the cosy reading nook on the wingback chair and watch your favourite movie on the 50" TV.

The fully equipped kitchen & diner boasts modern appliances including an induction hob and Nespresso machine. You'll find all you need to either create delicious homemade meals or enjoy a takeaway from the wide selection available in Bridlington town.

Upstairs you'll find 2 spacious bedrooms. In the master bedroom there is a comfy kingsize bed with hypnos mattress and a spacious en-suite next door. Bedroom 2 can be made up either as a full size twin or a super king to suit your group. We offer hotel quality linen to ensure that you have a perfect night's sleep.

Garderners cottage is south facing so you'll be able to make the most of the summer sun be that relaxing on the front decking, or in the fully enclosed private patio garden which houses a corner sofa, bench and BBQ, it's a great spot to relax and perfect for al fresco dining.

There is a large driveway that will accommodate at least 2 cars.

Sewerby Hall is a 2 minute walk

Sewerby is an historic village a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the famous fishing town of Bridlington. It's perfectly located as a base for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire coast and nearby attractions such as Flamborough Head and RSPB Bempton cliffs

Immediately over the road you'll find historic Sewerby Hall with its landscaped gardens, historic architecture, tranquill woodland walks, zoo and Clock Tower cafe.

If you love the sea, the beach is just a 5 minute walk away, or take a stroll along the cliff tops either towards Flamborough or Bridlington for breathtaking views of the Yorkshire coastline.

If you're a regular parkrunner and partial to some tourism, you couldn't be closer to the start of Sewerby parkrun one of the most scenic courses in the coutry a one lap route that takes in both the coastal paths and the woodland grounds of Sewerby Hall.

Sewerby village is also home to some great cafes and restaurants such as The Old Forge and the Ship Inn. There are shops close by for stocking up on essential items.

Take a walk, or catch the land train or bus to the historic fishing village of Bridlington with its picturesque harbour and an ample selection of arcades, restaurants and pubs.

Flamorough and Bempton nearby

Further afield from Sewerby, there are plenty of other great destinations to explore in East Yorkshire and beyond.

The Yorkshire Wolds offers rolling hills and charming villages like Thixendale and Wetwang, perfect for hiking and cycling along the Yorkshire Wolds Way.

To the south, Bridlington Bay has dramatic cliffs and quiet beaches, with South Beach offering stunning views. To the north Bempton cliffs are famous for birdwatching, particularly puffins and gannets between May and July.

Hornsea Mere, 15 miles south of Bridlington, is known for its beach and Hornsea Mere lake, ideal for boating and birdwatching. It also has a quaint town center and museum.

Further along the coast, Scarborough offers two beaches, Scarborough Castle, and scenic parks like Peasholm Park. Whitby, to the north, is famous for its Whitby Abbey and links to Dracula.

Historic towns are also close by: the historic City of York, wiht its mpressive York Minster and Viking heritage at the Jorvic Centre. Beverley and Driffield are also a short drive away and worth a visit if you have time.

For outdoor lovers, the North York Moors offers beautiful trails and forest walks, and the North York Moors Railway gives a scenic steam train ride through the countryside.
